Normal Lymphoid Tissues: Part 3 - 3.

At higher magnification, monocytoid B cells have deeply indented nuclei and abundant, pale cytoplasm. Compared with marginal zone B cells, monocytoid B cells are larger, with more nuclear irregularity and more abundant cytoplasm. Monocytoid B cells are heterogeneous, with some apparently being pre-germinal center cells and others post-germinal center memory B cells.
