Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia, microgranular variant, peripheral blood. 67 year old female with mild leukocytosis and anemia. Promyelocytes in peripheral blood have absence of granules and characteristic bilobed nuclear shape. Flow cytometry revealed cells were positive for CD13/CD33/CD117, and cytoplasmic MPO and negative for CD34. FISH positive for t(15;17).
