May-Hegglin anomaly is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by: prominent Dohle bodies in granulocytic cells, poorly granulated giant platelets, and variable thombocytopenia that may cause purpura. In this figure, a neutrophil contains multiple prominent, light blue, round Dohle bodies, which are intracytoplasmic inclusions that consist of RNA.
