Bone aspirate of a 65-year-old male with multiple myeloma is shown. In addition to plasma cells with typical morphology, there is an increased population of atypical plasma cells which have globular inclusions (Russell bodies) in their cytoplasm (arrows). Russell bodies are hyaline cytoplasmic spherules containing immunoglobulin.
