At higher magnification of the previous image, heterogeneity in size of the lymphoid population is more apparent, with cells of intermediate to large size present. Nuclear borders on many of the cells are irregular but not cleaved. Small nucleoli are also evident in many of the cells. Numerous apoptotic figures are present.
