Osteoblasts are Oval or spindle-shaped cells, 20 to 40 µm long, grouped in small clusters. Low N / C ratio, oval and eccentric nucleus, with finely drawn chromatin. Cytoplasm is gray-blue or blue, and cytoplasmic outlines are not very clear. A large, clear region is often located in the center of the cell (= difference from the plasma cell)
