Figure 1 has a neutrophil phagocytosing cryoglobulin in a patient with cryoglobulinemic vasculitis. This is how cytoplasmic vacuolization can be seen in the presence of toxic granulation. But, these phagosomes are larger than simple vacuoles. In this figure, phagosomes are seen in white. May-Grünwald Giemsa stain, 100x magnification.
