Giant Platelets are significantly larger than normal Platelets and even larger than red blood cells.Giant Platelets are often linked to inherited disorders such as:Bernard_soulier syndrome

They can also be seen in conditions like myeloproliferative neoplasms,myelodysplasia,and some forms of immune thrombocytopenia.
