The bone marrow smear and immunophenotyping of a patient with early T-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ETP-ALL). ETP-ALL blasts are typically CD8− and CD1a− (< 5% of blast population), CD5− or dim (< 75% of blast population), and express one or more myeloid (CD11b, CD13, CD33, CD65, CD117) or stem cell markers (CD34, HLA-DR) (> =25% of blast population).
