The cellular features of typical cells seen in T-cell PLL are more evident in this view. Two normal sized lymphocytes can be seen in the low section of the image. The cytoplasm of the larger cells is deeply basophilic and agranular. The nuclear contours of these cells range from round to irregular but cleaving is not present. Single prominent nucleolus is evident in most cells. Several basket/smudge cells are also noted.
