Toxoplasmosis is a common parasitic infection which is usually asymptomatic. Symptoms, when present, are typically those of a flu-like illness with fever, muscle aches, and swollen, tender lymph nodes. Histologically, the involved nodes show follicular hyperplasia and diffuse proliferation of epitheliod histiocytes.
