A low-power view of a retroperitoneal lymph node is shown. The nodal architecture was completely effaced by an infiltrate of small mature appearing lymphocytes, abundant histiocytes and large centroblasts and immunoblasts dispersed throughout the node. Prominent pale appearing histiocytes with abundant pink cytoplasm are most evident in this view.
