Atypical chronic myeloid leukemia, BCR-ABL1 negative

44 year old male.

 

The karyotype was normal. There was no evidence of a BCR/ABL gene fusion by FISH.  By PCR, the sample was negative for BCR-ABL transcripts of the major and minor breakpoint cluster regions.
