The cellular composition of the ascetic fluid is more evident on this image. Macrophages with cytoplasmic vacuoles containing pink amorphous material are noted (double arrow). Small benign appearing lymphocytes are present (small arrow). A plasma cell with large nucleolus is shown (large arrow).
