Leukemic promyelocyte in bone marrow of an Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia patient. We observed multiple clusters of Auer rods (lysosomal compounds rich in peroxidase) in the cytoplasm. The arrangement of these Auer rods gives this cell the name of a cell in Faggot or Faggot cell (May-Grünwald-Giemsa stain).
