This blood smear shows characteristic morphologic features of microgranular acute promyelocytic leukemia (M3V). A prominent leukocytosis is present with numerous cells exhibiting bilobed or monocytoid-appearing nuclei. Cytoplasmic granulation is absent to inconspicuous.
