The nature of the cellular infiltrate in the fibrotic area is best seen in this view. The cells are similar to those seen in the aspirate. Cytoplasmic borders are poorly delineated but the prominent nucleoli are easily noted. Apoptotic bodies are also present in the infiltrate.
