4 month old female was seen in the Emergency Room with severe respiratory symptoms. A CBC performed revealed a WBC of 78.3k/uL with a differential of 90% lymphocytes, many with irregular nuclear borders, 8% neutrophils and 2% bands. The lymphocyte predominance and atypical forms are illustrated in this view. The cells show variable amounts of cytoplasm with intense basophilic staining and absence of granules. The cell in the R bottom of the image has a cleaved nucleus.
