Lymph node biopsy from a 16-year-old female who presented with massive cervical lymphadenopathy. The histology of the node was consistent with a diagnosis of sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy (SHML). However, one area of the biopsy showed an infiltrate distinct from SHML. A low-power view of the lesion is shown. Small, bland appearing lymphocytes are noted intermixed with abundant eosinophils.
