Immunohistochemical staining with anti-CD 138 antibody (Syndecan 1) of the subcutaneous soft tumor biopsy on the head is shown. Diffuse staining outlining the cytoplasma of the plasma cells is consistent with the subcutaneous tumor being an extramedullary plasmacytoma.
