A low-power view of a lymph node from a patient with systemic mastocytosis is shown. Residual follicular structures can be identifies. The interfollicular space has multiple pale appearing areas composed of intermediate sized cells with abundant cytoplasm. Vascular structures are prominent in these regions. No definitive areas of fibrosis are evident.
