Chédiak-Higashi syndrome (CHS) in a patient with abnormal granules in leukocytes.  Chédiak–Higashi syndrome is an autosomal recessive disorder that occurs in patients with   a mutation of a lysosomal trafficking regulator protein (CHS1)  leading to a decrease in phagocytosis. The decrease in phagocytosis results in recurrent infections, partial albinism and peripheral neuropathy.
