Periarteriolar localization of granulocytic precursors normal BMBx

Intermediate-power image of normal bone marrow.  Coursing horizontally through the field is a blood vessel.  Granulocytic precursors are normally found adjacent to bony trabeculae and also, as illustrated here, in a periarteriolar distribution (hematoxylin and eosin).
