Photomicrograph of a bone marrow biopsy with osteosclerosis. Osteosclerosis is identified as thickened anastomosing bony trabeculae, often seen in conjunction with a myeloproliferative neoplasm or with metastatic carcinoma in the bone marrow. In this case, the marrow is extensively replaced by a myeloproliferative neoplasm with cords of cells growing in a swirling pattern.
