Within the interfollicular areas are scattered small cellular aggregates composed of atypical mast cells admixed with small lymphocytes, plasma cells, and eosinophils. The sinuses are dilated by histiocytes with foamy cytoplasm and small lymphocytes with spillover into focal aggregates.
