The peripheral blood smear showing different types of myelobast in patient diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia(APL) variant (FAB: M3v). Microgranular/Hypogranular APL blasts have distinct morphologic features such as irregular bilobed nucleus and paucity or absence of granules compared to typical APL(hypergranular). Note that these cells might be confused with monoblasts.
