A 3-year-old female child patient presented with pancytopenia. His bone marrow aspirate smear showed cluster of foam cells having round nuclei and cytoplasm containing clear vacuoles of varying size and soap-bubble appearance. Enzyme studies confirmed the diagnosis of Niemann-Pick disease.
