A urine routine examination demonstrates numerous eosinophils with characteristic bilobed nuclei and bright coarse  cytoplasmic granules (Wright–Giemsa stain, 1000× oil immersion). Presence of eosinophils in urine is suggestive of eosinophiluria, which can be associated with allergic interstitial nephritis and other inflammatory renal conditions.
