Peripheral smear of patient with sepsis who had PET CT with contrast for lymphoma work- up. Smear made after injection of iodinated contrast. Black pigment is seen in neutrophils, band forms, metamyelocyte and myelocytes. Toxic granules and vacuolation is also seen.
