The patient is an 11-year-old male with Wolfram Syndrome/DIDMOAD suffering from insulin-dependent diabetes, optic atrophy, central DI, adrenal insufficiency, and OSA. He presented with acute hypoxic and hypercarbic respiratory failure and septic shock secondary to central line associated fungemia. Blood cultures showed growth of Candida lusitaniae.
