CD34 stain depicting intrasinusoidal megakaryocytes and erythroid precursors. Most fibrotic stage MPNs show intrasinusoidal hematopoiesis. Also, megakaryocyte morphology in all fibrotic stage MPNs resemble megakaryocytes of PMF (cloud like and hyerpchromatic forms) and hence these morphologic features cannot be used to infer the underlying MPN when seeing the biopsy for the first time in fibrotic stage.
