This images shows the peripheral blood smear of a patient diagnosed with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). The blood smear shows anemia, thrombocytopenia along with the presence of large platelets, poikilocytosis, schistocytes and increased reticulocyte count (nRBC) which ultimately are the evidences of microangiopathic hemolytic anemia and helps to diagnose TTP.
